E-Week: Engineers-week is from February 16th
– 22nd. The theme this year is Discover Engineering: Let’s Make a
Difference! The E-Week committee has been working hard to make their 40th
year celebrating E-Week in Alaska another successful event celebrating
engineering! Please see the attached schedule of events and the fundraising letter. Individual donors are an important part of the E-Week fundraising
efforts; without them, E-Week wouldn’t be able to offer the activities, events,
and scholarships they provide.
E-Week Banquet: Attached is an invitation to the 2014 Engineers Week Awards Banquet. The entertainment this year is improve comedy!
E-Week School Presentations: Engineers will be needed
February 18th – 28th to speak to students in local elementary, middle, and
high schools. Volunteers are welcome to speak about engineering, math,
science, technology, or other related fields. Speaking in local schools is a
great opportunity for you to inform students about the exciting world of
engineering and have fun while doing it! If you are interested in speaking, please
